Tamara and Mark, married in the Sacred Valley of Peru, few words can describe the experience of their wedding, for us and for those so lucky to witness their love, to know the authenticity of their beings, their joy and passion for life, a gift in and of itself. I recently came across these words: “a story has no beginning or end: arbitrarily one chooses that moment of experience from which to look back or from which to look ahead.” You see, I cannot pinpoint a beginning, many decisions and connections far in the past, they led us to one another before we knew of each other’s existence, and then we were connected, forever in a way intertwined our lives, this much we do know. It was 2022 when brides who we adore hired us to photograph their wedding, a guest in attendance who’s dance moves forever imprinted in our minds, she connecting us, walking into Tamara and Mark’s story where we would be so fortunate to know and walk alongside two of the most remarkable people, curiously Forensic Architects, twin flames, intriguing deep caring and kind, beautiful simply beautiful beings. And so we found ourselves in Peru, touching down in the most sacred of places to which deep roots they have, to document a wedding like none other. The feeling of the place, the experience of moving within their orbit, of knowing them, of getting to see the brilliant minds inhabiting these beautiful souls, indescribable really, an honor completely. Tamara and Mark, thank you for inviting us into your lives, for entrusting us with your story and for becoming our friends, grateful only barely describes the feeling we are left with, gracias por tanto amigos, muchas felicidades, buen camino.
