Stephanie & Victor were married in Oaxaca and it was just as beautiful as we imagined it would be. First, we’ll leap back to New Years Eve 2020. It was the end of an extraordinary year with hope for fresh new days on the horizon. We were on holiday in the Sierra when an email landed in our inbox from Victor regarding a surprise proposal on a rooftop in Centro. Unsure whether our response would send from the mountaintop on which we stood, we crossed our fingers and confirmed our delight at the prospect of documenting this moment in their lives. A week later we found ourselves on that rooftop in Centro, Roque and I playing the part of photographer tourists when Victor dropped to his knee, Stephanie in shock with tears flowing softly spoke that moment defining YES! It was that day that Oaxaca entered their lives, and so being the passionate adventurers that they are, they chose to bring their family and friends to our stunning city to celebrate their love. Their wedding was an intimate affair, cozy and warm, incredibly meaningful, a beautiful experience both visually and emotionally. Stephanie and Victor are two amazing and joyous beings. They connect deeply, it’s a feeling they radiate, it’s a soul thing their strong and rooted love; they are gorgeous together, effortless authenticity completely themselves, strong and soft, present and kind. Spending time with their quirky unique families, Stephanie and Victor’s refreshing realness, genuine curiosity and just all around beauty, well it all made sense, a most perfect reflection of the humans with whom they grew into the people they are in this moment. And just like last time, we were left with full hearts and beaming smiles, what joy to be a part of these moments in their lives, what a gift to call them our friends. Congratulations Stephanie and Victor, you are the best, continue to live life as you do, wild and wonderful, cheers to this amazing journey of yours, ¡muchas felicidades amigos!
