“Documenting A Day in Village Life” is a series of photographs I made while working as a TA for Documentary Photographer Stella Johnson at her annual workshop in Oaxaca in January 2015. These images were made in a small rural farming town called Emiliano Zapata, located roughly 40 minutes south of Oaxaca City in the municipality of Villa de Zaachila. The series shows a glimpse of what daily life looks like for two families in the said community.
