Clare and Dan. Married in Holbox, a truly surreal paradise that makes you feel disconnected and grounded, the magic is immeasurable. We walked into one another’s lives due to a series of completely random events woven together by a series of fortunate encounters, as is the nature of life. Many tiny decisions over years are basically how we found ourselves on a tiny island in the middle of the sea photographing the union of two of the most wonderful human beings. Their wedding was a dream and I mean that in a sort of literal way, as we are still not quite sure it all really happened and wouldn’t argue with an annual repeat just to be sure. Clare and Dan, they are wizards with words and they are also, as one guest put it, highly empathetic, carrying the blessing and burden of feeling deeply, connecting authentically, they are special together. They fit, one for the other, it’s smooth and seamless and inspiring and beautiful to witness them in their dance of life and their way of love. Their vows, just gotta touch on this because I found myself there in the imagery of their words effortlessly moving dimensions as they painted their past moments into brief present existence, to that subway platform, at essex station was it? Their words were mind blowing beautiful vivid poetry and we are grateful to have witnessed them. Talented creative souls fiercely connected. Even more moments I could describe, but this would then be far too long and maybe even too bizarre a rambling, and so with that we’d like to say congratulations once more to two phenomenal human beings.
